"Miss Middleton chose British brand Alexander McQueen for the beauty of its craftsmanship and its respect for traditional workmanship and the technical construction of clothing," the official site states. "[She] wished for her dress to combine tradition and modernity with the artistic vision that characterises...McQueen's work."

Kate's heels were also by Alexander Mcqueen.

Her tiara was the 'Halo' tiara designed by Cartier, and the teardrop earrings by Robinson Pelham were a gift from her parents.

Kate was inspired by Grace Kelly Princess of Monaco and Queen Elizabeth. Many brides get inspiration from Grace Kelly's timeless wedding look, myself included.
